One of Edmonton’s expats, Ben Stevenson, is returning for a quick string of dates. The Toronto resident and former Our Mercury frontman will open for Kingston’s reggae-punk trio, Bedouin Soundclash, on Aug. 13 at The Starlite Room. Tickets are $30 plus service charges at Ticketmaster. Stevenson will also perform Aug. 14 at The ARTery.Listen to some of his soulful demos, including Shine On Me, on MySpace. Swoon! Why is this man not a household name yet?
